Welcome to Zia.li/The Empire Tree, a giant neuron mangrove, the home of my creations and stuff and things and so on.

My name is Alyx. I started this website when I was 11 years old as I was starting to learn HTML. 8 years later, it's still here, and still HTML — I guess it turned out that I was pretty content with that being the extent of my coding skills. I'm a university student pursuing linguistic anthropology and like to make stuff in my free time. Some of the stuff I like to make is drawings and songs. Sometimes I write, but I'm too picky to complete anything, and I'm pretty shy with words. This site is where I put stuff I'm working on, but there are frequent gaps where nothing is updated for a long time, so it's not necessarily going to show my latest projects.

A long time ago I made up a language, which is where the name "ziali" originated from; it was the Oposichangan equivalent of Alyx. Originally the language was known as Oposichang, but it eventually cycled through five other alternatives: Zipozishahj, Shahjin, Shahjiin, Shahjiina, and finally Marinersk.
I have hardly any information on the language anymore, but it was so heavily based upon English that I don't really feel like it's any loss.
